	From Wikopedia: A rooster, also called a cock or chanticleer, is a male chicken with the female being called a hen. Immature male chickens of less than a year’s age are called cockerels. “Roosting” is the action of perching aloft to sleep at night, and is done by both sexes. The rooster is polygamous, but cannot guard several nests of eggs at once. He guards the general area where his hens are nesting, and will attack other roosters who enter his territory. During the daytime, he often sits on a high perch, usually 4–5 feet off the ground to serve as a lookout for his flock. He will sound a distinctive alarm call if predators are nearby.The rooster is often (accurately) portrayed as crowing at the break of dawn and will almost always start crowing before 4 months of age. He can often be seen sitting on fence posts or other objects, where he crows to proclaim his territory. The chicken is a domesticated fowl. As one of the most common and widespread domestic animals, and with a population of more than 24 billion in 2003, there are more chickens in the world than any other bird. Humans keep chickens primarily as a source of food, consuming both their meat and their eggs.

	Commentary from the Designer: Who in the world doesn’t know what a chicken or a rooster is? Chickens are the most populous bird in the world. Everybody knows about chickens, roosters, hens, chicks and eggs. And everybody knows that the rooster wakes up at the crack of dawn to crow and wake everybody and every thing else up. This design is for all those rooster chicken lovers out there.
